In relation to photographic workshops, the aim of each workshop is to help you draw on your own individual photographic style and talent, to build your confidence, enthusiasm and knowledge. Most of all, each workshop should be fun, as the level enjoyment of photography is reflected in the photographs you take. My workshops do not constitute a formal qualification.
Workshops take several forms, unless otherwise specified-
- "bite sized", where we work outside or inside for a short period of time to run through a few basics in composition and technique.
- set workshops comprising practical work, theory and/or a combination of both.
- workshops where I will meet you at a location of your choice, and just be "present" in the background to assist you with any queries in any way I can. If I cannot answer any question, then it will be fun working it out together, or I will find out after the event and contact you accordingly.
Workshops are geared to a maximum number of 15 people at one time, unless otherwise specifiedand I am happy to accept bookings at a time and venue (or multiple venues)of your choice. Periodically I will arrange a workshop(s)venue in advance, and I will provide details of those on this page.
Interested?
Please feel free to contact me for all workshop enquiries, confirmplacesand accommodation availability on pre-booked workshops before booking, or if you have any queries. Places will be reserved for you and confirmed upon the receipt of a completed booking form and payment. Please ensure all booking forms are received by me at the latest three days before each workshop begins, as I do need to finalise arrangements with our venue(s) where applicable.
Looking for venue inspiration?
Why not visit my "links" page for inspiration? Sometimes it is difficult to think of a venue to go photographing in the wild, or if you do have a favourite location, there is no guarantee your chosen photographic subject will appear on that day. There are a variety of nature reserve and sanctuary locations where creatures survive, both wild and captive (being nursed back to health). Who knows, you may have the opportunity to support an charity and help injured wildlife as well.
Booking forms - I will be happy to send you a booking form by post or email upon request, or why not download and print a form from the following link? Booking enquiries for part of each workshop are also welcome, and will be accommodated if possible, alternatively, why not join my mailing list?
