Welcome to my bugs, insects and butterflies page

Many of these photographs were taken as a test of my photographic equipment, and have been taken in a variety of locations from Scotland to Cornwall.  I was happy enough with the results to include some of them as framed prints in my Wildlife at your Fingertips exhibition this year.

Insects are not my favourite subject, therefore the correct name of some of the species elude me, therefore I have noted this where necessary, and I am treating it as a good exercise to further my education and find out what they are.  I will update the information accordingly.
